THE FASHION ACADEMY STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES
WE EDUCATE our students with a curriculum of study that also includes a colour system that is simple, and exclusive, and enhances customer satisfaction.
WE DESIRE that our Fashion Academy graduates become leaders in educating both the general public and as well as fashion industry that is targeting men, women, children and adolsescents.
WE DISCOURAGE skin colour systems that advocate outmoded typecasting as for example, "winter, spring, summer and fall" stereotypes, racially or ethnically based colour systems, and any colour system that advocates generalities such as 'light, medium, or dark' or advocates any system that creates artificial divisions between humans colouring.
WE PROUDLY CLAIM our skin undertone system overcomes all racial and ethnic boundaries, by utilizing colour determining cards that transcend race and ethnic origin, and explores and confirms how men and women of different skin colours nonetheless are more alike than dissimilar.
WE BELIEVE a person's individuality can more accurately be expressed only when a personal fashion statement of a man, women, or child is enhanced by designs, styles, and colours which incorporate that individual's personality, body line, and skin undertone as a whole. We believe we have a comprehensive fashion typing of colour, body line, and personality which is not intended to be based on psychological nor physiological stereotypes but general expression of the human condition which is then incorporated by haute couture, designs, and styles.
WE EMPOWER all consumers in the fashion industry, as well as the backbone of the fashion industry who daily serve the end consumer be emboldened to demand better fashion creations, and exhort them to honor plus sizes and especially protect adolescents and children from exploitation by the fashion industry by styles that are not age appropriate or potentially damage self esteem and ultimately, trust in the fashion indsutry.
WE ADVOCATE that the personal fashion statement of a man or woman can only be an expression of their best selves and desires, and advocate strong lobbying against any style which obliges an individual to renounce their dignity, self esteem or practical applicability of that style in their personal lives.
